ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

 

For the purposes intended in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Counsel of 27 April 2016 related with the protection of individuals regarding personal data processing and the free circulation of the data, which supersedes Directive 95/46/EC (General regulation on data protection) and what is indicated in the national legislation included in Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, concerning Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights and In accordance with the foregoing, with due regard for canon 455 § 1, and by virtue of the special mandate granted by the Congregation for the Bishops, 22 January 2018 (Prot. No. 37/2018), the 110th Plenary Assembly of the Episcopal Conference of Spain celebrated between the days 16 and 20 April 2018, we hereby inform you that the personal data provided will be incorporated (or will be updated) into the processing of the Archbishopric of Oviedo, with registered office at Plaza Corrada del Obispo, 1, 33003 – Oviedo, Spain.

PURPOSE

In the Archbishopric of Oviedo, we process the information that data subjects provide to us for the purpose of managing the forms of newsletter with birth certificates, marriage and death certificates belonging to the Archbishop of Oviedo. No automated decisions will be made based on this profile. ARCHBISHOPRIC of OVIEDO does intend to transfer these data to third countries. The personal data provided will be conserved as long as the data subject does not request their erasure and, in the latter case, whenever regulations in force on the subject of data protection do not expressly prohibit it. The Archbishopric of Oviedo does not accept responsibility for data provided on and additional, voluntary basis that are not required that are not being taken into account for the purpose described.

LEGITIMATION

The legitimation of processing of personal data is justified in the consent of the data subject and in the legal obligation to comply with the Code of Canon Law. The personal data requested are mandatory in nature, and hence if they are not filled in this makes it impossible to include them in the files described above and the compliance with the purposes defined in the previous paragraph.

RECIPIENTS

The recipient of their personal data collected on the forms mentioned sheet will have as recipients will be the Archbishopric of Oviedo.

RIGHTS

All individuals have the right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data related with them are being processed by the Archbishopric of Oviedo.

The data subjects have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request rectification of inaccurate data or, when relevant, request erasure of the data, whenever the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were gathered, or for other reasons, pursuant to current regulations.

Under certain circumstances, the interested parties may request the limitation of processing of their data, in which case, they will be conserved for the assertion or defence from claims.

Under certain circumstances and for reasons related with their specific situation, the interested parties may object to the processing of their data. The Archbishopric of Oviedo will cease to process the data, except for mandatory legitimate reasons or for the assertion or defence from any possible claims.

Likewise, the interested party has the right to receive personal data provided by the Archbishopric of Oviedo in a commonly used, machine-readable, structured format. This right will be limited to the following exceptions: that the data subject to this right have been provided by the data subject; that their data are processed by the Archbishopric of Oviedo in an automated manner (computerised measures).
